Setting up External Assignments

External Assignments allow you to receive assignments from an External Account to a special email that automatically brings it into the Encircle app as an "External Assignment" from there you can easily convert it into an Encircle claim file for your account.

1. To set this up, follow the instructions as seen on the External Assignments menu item. (Instructions also at bottom of this page).

2. Click Copy Text to copy the unique email to your clipboard.

Instructions to Setup External Assignments


Log in your External Account.


Click on the Administration drop down menu and select Contact Methods.


Click on the Add button at the bottom of the list.


Select Email and paste in your Magic Email address: 


Click Save.


Close the Contact Method window.


Click on the Administration drop down menu and select Notification Rules.


Click {addNewAssignments}.


Make sure the default settings are: Assignment, All, All, 12:00 AM, 12:00 AM, your time zone, your language, and that all the days are highlighted. 

This will ensure every external assignment that is sent to the Magic Email will generate a new Encircle External Assignment entry that you can convert.


Under the Contact Method column you will see 2 drop down menus. On the left drop down menu select Email, and on the right drop down menu the new Magic Email should appear. If not, select it and save.


Optional: You can test the success of the added contact method by performing a test claim.
