Link can be used at all stages of a job:
- On the frontend to assess the loss
- During the job, to manage client concerns or complaints
- At the end, to wrap up your completion paperwork
Sending a Policyholder Link
- Click on the Overview tab of a claim.
- Click the Send a Link button under the "Policyholder Link" section.
- In the "Setup Policyholder Link" window, select a Delivery Method. You can send a link via email, SMS, or both.
- The Policyholder Details will auto-populate with the information entered in the claim.
- Under Areas to Document, a room called Policyholder Photos and Videos will be selected by default. This will prompt your client to add photos and videos; deselect if that request isn't required.
- Add Documents to the request. You can add an existing report or create a new one by clicking Generate Report.
- If a form requires a signature, you will need to sign it before sending. To add a signature, click Preview & Sign. A permanent company signature can be added.
- Once all required fields have been updated, click Save Document.
- When you're ready to send the request, click Save & Send.
Your client will receive a message prompting them to click a link, after which they will be asked to take photos and/or sign documents.
As your client works through their assigned tasks, you will receive real-time notifications tracking their progress. You'll be alerted exactly when a task starts and when it's completed.
- Click on an incoming link notification or the Policyholder Link graphic from the Overview tab to view a client's photos and documents.
Sending a Link to a Third Party
Link can also be handy for third parties, such as sub-trades, property managers, and tenants. You can have as many Link recipients as needed on a claim.
- Click on the Overview tab of a claim.
- Scroll down to the "Link" section and click the Add Link button.
- In the "Add Link" window, select a Delivery Method.
- Select the requested Areas to Document and attach Documents.
