Encircle Floor Plan can be used on any iOS or Android device that meets the minimum operating system (OS) requirements, including tablets!
The minimum OS requirements are: iOS 17 and Android 10. Most, if not all, Android and iOS devices from the past 3 years will be able to meet this minimum OS requirement.
Floor Plan is 95% accurate with any supported device. Accuracy increases to 97% if using an iPhone or iPad with LiDAR (see list below of LiDAR devices).
Check in the following lists if your device is supported by Floor Plan.
iOS devices
Not sure which one you have? Find the model number of your device, then identify your iPhone model or identify your iPad model. Note that newer devices will offer improved scanning.
We require at least iOS 17.0 to be able to run on your Apple devices.

Android Devices
The general minimum requirement for an Android device is that it has ARCore support and has a minimum operating system of Android 10.
If you are unsure about your Android device, double check that it is running Android 10 or higher, and check the ARCore supported devices list for your model.
Mobile Data & Offline Mode
An internet connection (WiFi or mobile data) is not required to create scans. You can create a scan/capture in offline mode if needed.
You will however need an internet connection (either WiFi or mobile data) to submit the scan to be processed into a Floor Plan. The 6 hour delivery time begins when the Floor Plan scan has been submitted.
Battery Consumption
Scanning uses a lot of processing power, however you should not need more than 5% battery life to complete a scan, even a large one. We recommend, however, that you have at least 50% battery life.
