Transferring Claim Ownership

By default, Claim Ownership resides with the organization that created the claim. Whichever org "owns" the claim can manage certain functions, such as merging, deleting, and re-sharing it.

There may be scenarios where you want to transfer ownership of a claim to a different org; usually when working closely with a sister company within your own network or franchise group.

To transfer ownership of a claim, start by sharing the claim with someone from the other org.

Then click Transfer Ownership next to their org name.

After transferring ownership, you and your team can still work on the claim. However, the other org will control the merging, deletion, and re-sharing of the claim.
