Encircle now captures GPS location data on all of your claim media for increased data integrity.
Once enabled, GPS data will be added to all photos, videos, and floor plans, including Hydro photos and contents photos.

How to enable location data for Encircle
You will need to make sure that you allow the Encircle app to use your location data. This can be done in your device settings.
To do this, navigate to the settings page on your phone. Search for Encircle, and then allow Encircle to access your location while using the app.

How to enable phone location services
Before you can allow Encircle to access your location data, you need to make sure that your phone location services are turned on. You will probably already have this turned on if you use navigation apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc.
You can double check this in your device settings or (on certain devices) by swiping down from the top of the screen.
How is location data displayed in reports?
Full metadata including GPS info will be visible when viewing the photo in full screen. I.e when you click on the image thumbnail.
GPS data will also be available when photos are downloaded from the report.
Is location data captured for photos uploaded from the device gallery?
For photos and videos that are uploaded into Encircle, the location data (if available) will be carried over and displayed in the same way as images captured within Encircle.
Will photos taken in offline mode have GPS data?
Yes! As long as you have your location settings on, any media that you create while in offline mode will have GPS data available.
