You can utilize "Structures" on larger losses where you have multiple buildings or units involved in the claim. Some examples where this is useful are:
- Multi-unit loss like in an apartment or condo building
- Campus with multiple buildings
- Residence with a detached guest house
To add a structure during claim set up, follow these steps:
- Under Structures, enter the name of your new structure and hit Enter or click Add Structure
- Repeat for each new structure you'd like to add
- Enter your room names for each structure (room templates can be handy for this as they allow you to create multiple rooms with one click)
To add a structure after the claim has already been set up, follow these steps:
- Open the Structures & Rooms tab.
- Click Add Structure.
- Enter a name for your new structure. You can add additional details to the structure if needed.
- Click Add Structure.
- Repeat for each structure you need to add.
You'll be able to jump between the different structures in the claim by clicking on the tabs up top.
