What is Encircle Scope?

Encircle Scope is an AI-powered feature that transforms your field documentation into a structured, estimate-ready mitigation scope.

Using the photos, notes, floor plans, moisture readings, and other data captured in Encircle, Scope automatically generates a room-by-room scope of work—complete with recommended tasks, quantities, and IICRC-backed justification.

How it Works

Encircle Scope follows a simple three-step process: capture, analyze, review.

3 Step Processs.jpg

1. Capture

Your team documents the job in the Encircle app as they normally would. This includes:

  • Photos and 360 images

  • Notes and damage descriptions

  • Floor plans and measurements

  • Moisture readings and Hydro data

2. Analyze

Encircle’s AI engine processes your documentation, with data passing through five key verification layers:

  • Computer Vision Analysis: Scans photos to visually identify building materials (e.g. drywall, flooring, etc.), detect fixtures (e.g. appliances, lighting), and validate that the visible damage supports the described damage.
  • Damage Description Analysis: Extracts observations and intent from the audio narration and written notes. It identifies the key job characteristics including source of loss, category, class and specific affected areas.
  • Spatial Calculation: Ingests measurements and floor plans to calculate precise quantities (SF/LF) for tasks and automatically determines equipment recommendations based on the environment
  • Data Synthesis: Connects the dots between disparate data points. For example, it cross-references a moisture reading with a photo of standing water and a written note to form a verified, complete picture of the loss.
  • Standards Alignment: Every finding is audited against the latest industry guidelines – including IICRC S500/S520/S700, OSHA, and EPA – to ensure the proposed work is compliant and defensible.

3. Review

With a few clicks, the engine quickly delivers a delivers a structured, editable scope.

Instead of writing from scratch, your PM or estimator reviews, edits, and finalizes the scope before moving into estimating.

What mitigation/job types are supported?

Encircle Scope is designed for all types of emergency residential mitigation jobs, including water, fire, mold, asbestos, and impact losses. The system uses built-in restoration logic to automatically identify necessary tasks—such as Category 3 protocols for sewage backups—ensuring standards are maintained regardless of the peril.

What documentation do I need to generate an accurate scope?

Encircle Scope is designed to work at different stages of a job. Within minutes of arrival, 4–6 photos and a brief damage note can generate a high-level preliminary scope; useful for getting quick client buy-in, allocating resources, meeting SLA's, updating admins and supervisors about new losses quickly, and more.

For a comprehensive, quantified scope, we recommend 10+ photos per room, a floor plan for measurements, and detailed room-specific notes to ensure 80-90% of job variables are captured on Day 1.
