Using the Quick Editor

The quick editor lets you make quick changes to your floor plan, such as relabeling rooms, adding measurement lines, text, and other elements.

 

Using the Quick Editor

  1. Under the Structures & Rooms section, click on the requested floor plan.
  2. Click the Fix Scan wrench icon in the toolbar at the bottom.                           
  3. In the editor window, you can re-label a room, add measurement lines, text and other elements. 
    • Re-label Room: To re-label a room, click the room name, then update the Name field in the pop-up panel on the right.
    • Adjust Ceiling Height: Update the Height field, which is 7 feet 10 inches by default.
    • Add Measurement Lines: Click the + icon on the left, and select the tape measure icon. Click your mouse to place the points.
    • Add Text Box: Click the + icon on the left, and select the text option. Use the text buttons in the top menu to adjust the font size.
    • Toggle Dimensions: Room dimensions can be turned on or off by clicking the Toggle Dimensions icon and selecting the room.
    • Moving Floor Plan Elements: Click an element to drag and drop it to its new location. Undo/redo buttons are available in the top menu. 
  4. If your floor plan has multiple floors, use the Select Floors dropdown in the top right corner to choose the floor you would like to edit.
  5. Save your changes to close the Quick Editor.
