Introduction
Welcome to Encircle! In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of bulk uploading equipment lists using our platform. By following these steps, you'll be able to efficiently manage your inventory with ease.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- An active Encircle account
- Access to the provided link for the equipment list template
- Familiarity with your equipment details including manufacturers, model numbers, and asset IDs or tracking numbers
Step 1: Accessing the Equipment List Template
Click on the link provided by Encircle to access the equipment list template. Make a copy of the template to your preferred location, ensuring you have edit permissions.
Step 2: Filling Out the Template
Open the copied equipment list template. Begin filling out the template with your equipment details:
- Enter manufacturers' names.
- Provide accurate model numbers.
- Assign asset IDs or tracking numbers to each item.
- Exclude any displays or accessories from the list. Encircle only accepts three equipment types: Dehumidifiers, Air Movers, and Air Scrubbers.
Step 3: Sending the Equipment List
Once you've completed filling out the template, save your changes.
Email the completed equipment list to support@encircleapp.com. Our team will handle the rest, ensuring your equipment details are accurately uploaded and ready for use in the Encircle app.
Note: After we upload, it’s up to you to manage your own equipment list!
Tips for Successful Uploads
- Ensure all information provided in the template is accurate and up-to-date.
- Double-check manufacturer and model numbers against factory specifications for precision.
- Use unique asset IDs or tracking numbers to easily identify and manage your equipment.
- Avoid including displays or accessories in your list, as Encircle exclusively supports three primary equipment categories: Dehumidifiers, Air Movers, and Air Scrubbers.
