How do I log into Encircle?
On a computer, you can log into the Encircle Web App here.
On a phone/tablet, open the Encircle mobile app and use your email address and password to log in. If it's been a while since you last logged in, you may need to request a password reset.
Why do I need to export my data?
Encircle is ending support for our free Home Inventory product to focus on other products and services —effective December 17, 2025.
After this point, you will be unable to login to the app and your home inventory data will be inaccessible, so please make sure to export your data from the system before then. This process only takes a few minutes, and there a few ways to do this.
Exporting Data from the Web App
From the Encircle Web App, you can create PDF reports, Excel reports, and media exports. Refer to the following video of follow the steps below.
To get started, log in to the web app here. Enter the same login credentials that you use with the Encircle Mobile App. Then click to open your inventory file. It will be labeled an "inspection" in the web app, but it is the same file with the same data as the mobile app.
There are 3 main ways to export your data.
Creating PDF Reports
- From the Overview tab of the file, scroll to the Documents section and click Generate Report.
- Select the PDF report type.
- Select the Encircle PDF Report template.

Choose what data you want to include in your report. In most cases, you'll choose Select Everything. If you have a large property with multiple structures or rooms with lots of items, you may want to choose specific structures or rooms and do a separate report for each.
- Fill out the report template.

Click Generate Report.
- When the report finishes processing, click to open it.

Click Download to save the report to your device.
Creating Excel Reports
- From the Overview tab of the file, scroll to the Documents section and click Generate Report.
- Select the Excel report type.

Choose what data you want to include in the report. In most cases, you'll probably want to include All Items.
- Enter a title for your report(s).
- Select a report template - you can run both at once if you prefer.
- Use the Report Options and Report Data Selection tools to manage what ends up in the final report. We recommend that you include everything in your report(s).

Click Generate Report.
- When the report(s) finish processing, click to open.

Click Download to save to your device.
Creating a Media Export
A media export allows you to download all the raw photos and videos from the file.

From the Overview tab of the file, scroll to the Exports section and click Download Photos & Videos.
- Enter a title for your export.
- Under the Media Selection section, choose what is included in your export. We recommend that you include everything, which is the default option.

Click Export.

When it finishes processing, click on it to download to your device.
Exporting Data from the Mobile App
From the Encircle Mobile App, you can create PDF reports and Excel reports. To export your raw media files, you'll need to visit our web app - and you can refer to the instructions above.
Creating a PDF Report
- Open the Documents section of the inventory file.
- Click Generate Report.
- Select the PDF report type.
- Select the Encircle PDF Report template (it's the only option).

Choose which data you want to include in the report. We suggest that you include Everything since you're exporting your data.
- Fill out the template.

Click Save.
- When the report finishes processing, click on it to open it.

From the menu, you can open the report and download it, email it to yourself, or send it via another method such as text message, cloud share, etc.
Creating an Excel Report
- Open the Documents section of the inventory file.
- Click Generate Report.

Select the Excel report type.
- Enter a title for the report. You can also edit the report contents, but we recommend that you include everything in the report which is the default setting.

Click Save.
- When the report finishes processing, click on it to open it.

From the menu, you can open the report and download it, email it to yourself, or send it via another method such as text message, cloud share, etc.
