Edit a User's Permissions

To update a user's permissions, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings from the left hand menu.
  2. Click Members.
  3. Click the 3 dots to the right of the user.
  4. Select Edit Member or Edit Invite (if the user has not accepted their invite yet). 1-4.png
  5. Choose the permission set you want them to have and save.

Permission Sets

  Permission Set   Description
  Limited Permissions
  • Can only see claims that have been explicitly shared with them.
  • Cannot view or search all claims 
  • Can create claims
  • Cannot merge claims
  • Cannot share or delete claims
  • Cannot create Floor Plans
  • Cannote manage the claim-level hydro task list
  Standard
  • Default permission set for all new users; ideal for most field staff
  • Can see all claims for the org and assign themselves to any job
  • Can view External Assignments
  • Can create & delete claims
  • Can merge claims
  • Can share claims
  • Can create Floor Plans
  • Can manage the claim-level hydro task list
  Admin
  • All of Standard permissions, plus:
  • Can add & manage users
  • Can manage billing & payment information
  • Can manage organization branding
  • Can manage organization settings such as equipment inventory, integrations, note templates, room templates, disposition lists, etc.

*All permission sets allow users full visibility and editing abilities within a claim; meaning they can add media, enter readings, create reports, etc.
