Managing Boxes (Web)

Field teams using the Encircle Mobile App will be the users primarily responsible for scanning items into boxes (or assigning them manually). As an admin, you can use the Boxes tab to keep an eye on your box count and see a detailed list of every box on the job along with what's in it.

Box Count Summary

At the top of the page you'll see a count of the boxes used on the job; how many small, medium, large boxes, etc. This is useful for charge outs.

Unboxed Items

Just below the box count summary you will see all unboxed items. This section should only include items that are not getting packed out, such as non-restorables and total loss items, unaffected items, items that will be stored on site etc.

Moving Items Between Boxes

The Encircle Mobile App empowers field users to quickly and easily scan or assign items to boxes. As an admin you ideally won't need to move items yourself, but this can be done in pinch if needed. 

1. Click Move Items.

2. Locate and select the item(s) you wish to move. 

   

3. With your item(s) selected, scroll until you find the box where you wish to move them. Then click Move Selected Items Here.

4. Click Save.
