Editing Inventory Items

In this article:

Items can be edited at any time to add additional photos and notes, update details, assign a new box, etc.

Quick Actions

Tap on the item to edit it. At the bottom of the page, use the plus button to add a note, replacement pricing, data tag photo, or receipt photo.

The 3 dots at the top right corner of the page open some additional shortcuts such as opening the item details, deleting it, or moving it to a different room. If moving an item, you'll be prompted to choose a structure and then a destination room. Note that items can be moved between rooms in bulk if needed.

Adding an Item Note

You may want to add a note to an existing item for post-cleaning photos, item assessment updates, notes about changes in custody, etc.

  1. Tap the + button.
  2. Select Create Item Note.
  3. Enter a title and/or description for the note. 
  4. (Optional) Tap the camera icon or gallery icon to add photos to the note if applicable.
  5. Tap Save.

Item Photos

At the top of the page you can swipe through the item profile photo, data tag photo and receipt photo if applicable. You can add those photos here if you need to.

Tap on any of these photos to mark it up, rotate it, or delete it.

Editing Item Details

To edit any of the item details, tap Edit Summary. Here you can update any fields, change the disposition or box number, add data tag or receipt photos as needed, and edit pricing info.
