Learn how to remove equipment from the job when drying is done.
As you go along, remember to remove equipment from the job file. This ensures that both your placement and removal dates remain accurate for documentation and billing. The "Days On-Site" field in reports is calculated using those dates.
Removing a Single Piece of Equipment from Hydro
You can remove individual units from a job file at any time. This is especially useful if a specific piece of equipment malfunctions or needs to be pulled from the site early for other reasons.
- From the Hydro homescreen of a claim, open the Equipment page
- Tap the Days On Site tab
- Find the equipment to be removed
- Tap the three dots on the right side and select Remove From Job
- Tap Yes on the confirmation prompt to proceed
Removing all Equipment from Hydro
When drying is complete, remove all equipment from the claim. This ensures that your moisture reports accurately reflect how long the equipment was on site, which will be important when you bill for the job later.
- From the Hydro homescreen of a claim, open the Equipment page
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the page
- Select Remove All Equipment
- Tap Yes on the confirmation prompt to proceed
