Removing Materials

Removing Materials

Hydro supports the removal of materials that are being torn out of a property. 

1. Open Hydro in the requested claim.
2. Tap the Room tab, then select the location of the material that needs to be removed.
3.  Select the material under the moisture point where it is located. 
4. On the next screen, Material Readings, tap the three dots in the top right corner.
5. Select Remove Material. 
   • Don't select Delete Material. See notes below.
6. Add a note explaining the reason why and tap Yes to submit.
7. The removed materials will appear as "Removed", and the app will stop prompting for additional moisture readings. 

Notes on Deleting Materials

• Deleting materials or a moisture point will erase any existing readings. Only use delete if items were added by mistake.
• Removing materials ensures that if moisture readings were taken for materials being torn out, those readings are preserved for your final documentation.
